Officine Rovers recently completed the installation of a single-girder bridge crane at the Leonardo facility in Luni Sarzana, La Spezia. This achievement marks a significant advancement in lifting technology and equipment management at the Italian Navy’s Helicopter Division.

The Officine Rovers single-girder overhead crane boasts a 5-ton capacity and is designed for precise and secure load handling. With a span of 16,500 mm and a hook travel of 14 meters from the floor, this crane offers remarkable operational flexibility, enabling efficient lifting and movement of loads of various sizes. What distinguishes this type of crane is its advanced control technology. The presence of electronic devices (inverters) for all movements ensures precise speed and power control, minimizing the risk of damage to sensitive loads. Additionally, the crane is equipped with a sophisticated PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) system for machine management, allowing total control and intelligent supervision of all lifting operations.
